Along with the obvious narration of all his public and academic milestones, this book gives a glimpse of the personal life of Max Muller. One surprising nugget of information that is derived by reading this book is that Max Muller never came to India. It contains portraits and few good illustrations. This book is in two volumes, and was first published in 1903.
