The narrative, brief though it be, will reflect the more abiding features of Indian national life, revealing some unfamiliar ideas and strange customs. The book is the product of extensive study of both the epics. The author has preserved these few fine pictures from oblivion, which he tries to find the truth and actuality behind the epics.
