ROUND KANGCHENJUNGA: A NARRATIVE OF MOUNTAIN TRAVEL AND EXPLORATION

- Book photographs of the great mountain photographer Vittorio Sella (1859-1943), is considered by many to be one of the best of the classic books on mountaineering. In 1899 he led an expedition that circumnavigated the Himalayan mountain Kanchenjunga (28,169 feet [8,586 metres]), and in 1905 he made a failed attempt to climb the Ruwenzori Range in Central Africa.
