RESOURCES AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA: Festschrift in Honour of Professor Baleshwar Thakur

Growing population in India has increased the pressure on natural resources. The complex and dynamic links between natural resources and regional development have long been recognized. Chapters in this book centre around the challenges emerging out of the resource use and regional development of the country. This book, a felicitation volume in honour of Professor Baleshwar Thakur, comprises of two sections – regional resources and regional development – both revealing the interest of Professor Thakur.
