This book is a comprehensive work on all the important issues in the infrastructural sector of port and shipping in India. In the perspective of economic development of the country, the transport sector particularly relating to major, intermediate and minor ports, and inland water transport has been extensively covered. The other related issues like privatisation, maritime law and containerisation have been dealt with.
