The book have in two volumes. The first chapter in this work deals with sports and sporting excursions of the author. This book is written in first-person and it follows a novel-like style. It includes the author’s experiences and his encounters with different people at various places in India, such as Delhi, Agra, Allahabad, etc. It contains thirteen chapters and a few illustrations. It gives important information on India, the colonial Government there, and the lives of the people.
