He indulges a hope, and if in the Plates of ‘Curry and Rice’, now set before him, the flavor is found to be a little too spicy and a little too pungent, and, to many perhaps, a thought too hot, remember that it is the nature of Curry to be so. Trusting, however, that it will prove to be a dish to his liking, and leaving him alone to partake of it, and he hopes enjoy it. Through the numerous illustrations, the author explores the condition of the inhabitants in view of giving the book a uniform and beautiful touch. In that context, the book is good for all.
