Communication, Informatics and Librarianship in India: An Introductory Guide to Publications Based on a Survey of Libraries in Capital City of India (CICIL-34)

The present publication in CICIL series which has attempted to enlist in one single sequence the national information resources in Communication, Information and Librarianship, of 33 important Delhi libraries, is intended to serve three purposes among others. Firstly, it will help the practising Librarians and working Information Scientists to update their knowledge and skill, to broaden their horizons and to meet the challenges of the changing times. Secondly, it is a handy tool for the Teaching Faculty who will find it (with listing of rare and out-of-print editions) of immense value in their teaching work. Thirdly, this publication is particularly valuable for Researchers and Scholars who will not only find in it listing of most of their required material in their area of study, but will also be able to locate the place where the material is available. Additionally, to Acquisition Librarian it will help indicate the gaps and to Reference Librarian a pointer for referral service
