Central Asia: An Outline History

Central Asia, the central region of the continent of Asia, is, and has always been, its crucial part. There have been the movements of peoples and ideas and marauding armies across it. The location of the states of contemporary West Central Asia between China, Russia and the West is also strategically significant. Central Asia thus is unique in Asia. Inspite of this, there is no proper history of Central Asia from the ancient time to the present. Central Asia: An Outline History is the first attempt of its kind. The author hopes it will help the writing of the proper history of Central Asia, and fulfil its lack. There is so much need for it.
