Agro-Afforestation Management on Wastelands: Village Level Study

This book addresses a wide range of issues concerning the problems of wastelands at Block level in District Sultanpur and at village level in Amethi Block describing the geographical locations, religio-historical importance of the study area, analysing the factors responsible for the wastelands development especially various natural and human factors for the agro-afforestation management in Amethi and Sultanpur. It also highlights comprehensive policy on practical reclamation of various types of wastelands in the selected villages of Amethi Block and economics of wastelands reclamation for agro-afforestation management. Finally, the strategies for agro-afforestation on wastelands have also been worked out.
