Agricultural Environment and Health

This book attempts to analyse the environmental base of agriculture and food production and its impact on nutrition and rural health in India, with special reference to Uttar Pradesh. Tracing the relationship between enviromental factors and deficinency diseases, it also tries to explore potential for agricultural production and carrying capacity of land to meet the increasing pressure of population. The analysis is based on total income per head per day and total food consumption per head per day.
