A Dictionary of the Burman Language, With Explanations in English

The Burmese-English dictionary of 1826 originated from the writings of the initial American Baptist missionaries in Burma. This significant work was compiled based on the manuscripts of Adoniram Judson (1788-1850), along with his associates Felix Carey and James Coleman. Representing a groundbreaking effort, this dictionary emerged from a strong conviction in the influential potential of the written word for evangelization.
