The Book presents a factual account of the extent, nature, causes and consequences of the political overtones of the subordinated and marginalized eunuch community and their efforts to occupy a lofty and honourable position in society. The study also identifies several sociological issues of the eunuch community that paved the way for their emergence in state and local politics.
In order to make the Book more expressive and easy to understand, caricatures and cartoons that grasp the sensitivity and essence of the research have been included.
The Book presents a new perspective of the community, how their emergence threatened the mainstream politicians, making them feel insecure. The Book also asks many questions related to our legal system that doesn?t give them the right to choose their own path, how the age old prejudices and discriminations still haunt them. The Book incorporates results of a Research Project that was initiated by the UGC.
