Contours of Social and Economic Development: Policy Issues

This volume seeks to present a retrospective of I.S.E.C.? s research contributions over the last twenty-five years of its existence. The papers included in the volume have been written by scholars with years of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields of specialisation. The articles analyse the pace and patterns of changes taking place in the economy, polity and society in India, keeping in view the theoretical underpinnings.
